Laid off as a successful salesperson, I turned to retail therapy! I had shopped at Buddha Belly Maternity during my last pregnancy and was remembering my obsession with beautiful maternity clothes. To my surprise, the store was for sale. Instantly, I knew I was given the opportunity to convert my obsession into an opportunity.

Since then, Buddha Belly Maternity of West Bloomfield, Michigan is thriving, happily catering to moms who can make the trip in. We’ve had customers visiting from thousands of miles away who tell me, “I wish there was a store like this back home!”

So with that in mind, we created HauteBellyMaternity.com to help customers anywhere in the United States shop from the privacy of their home or office.
